Sirocco is located within Holiday Inn in Burswood and is a modern dining restaurant offering a Mediterannean-influenced menu. I have been here numerous times as it is easier to get a table in this restaurant compared to the others in Burswood especially on the weekend.
The menu gets updated every so often so there are always new things to try every season. The menu covers a wide variety of food, including entree, pizza, pasta & risotto, main course and of course desserts! To start off with, we ordered some champagne, the Hardys Collection Brut Reserve. As with such restaurant, there is always an extensive wine list so you will never run of wine choices.

The best dish I thought for the night was the duck pizza. I only ever had duck pizza with hoisin sauce at two other places (one in Claremont and the other in a pizza shop in Malaysia) and became quite fond of the taste. The duck pizza in this case proved to be very tasty, it wasn’t very salty as could be with the addition of hoisin sauce. The onion and coriander pesto balanced the taste really well and contributed to make it very fusiony.
The let down for the night was the asparagus risotto. My friend was struggling to finish the dish, I felt sorry for her and gave her some of my yummy pizza. After dinner, several others commented that the dishes were not filling enough which led to us ordering some desserts.

along with a Hot Chocolate and Affogato. The ice-cream came separately in the affogato and I had to pour the espresso into the glass, making it more like a dessert rather than a coffee. First time having it this way which was interesting.
