Having already had the terrine and a glass of wine previously at this lovely french bisto , we decided to make sure of a place and booked in advance.Early Friday evening we took the parents , who have resided in France for 15 years , and went to the 6pm sitting , before heading off to Ellingtons for some cool jazz..
What a joy ! Attentive service , great food (no room for dessert , unfortunatly ) and lovely ambiance.Do try the Filet Mignon , superbly cooked and all the meals excellent and well presented.We felt $10 for corkage was very reasonable (nice glasses and changed for each wine) and one would take a decent wine to a decent reasuarant n’est pas?? Hate to tell everyone about this little gem !

We also had to wait and told to buy our coffee from the takeaway canteen. Food average. Had also tried the Fig in South Beach and that was terrible. This chain needs to lift its game. The views are the best thing about these restaurants.

I agree to Mary. Really bad:

The food was not good, we were four people who visited this restaurant and besides the food the service was really bad. Very unprofessionell, very unfriendly. I would say, they couldnt care less about good food or good service. NEVER AGAIN.

Thanks for your feedback and I’m sorry to hear of your recent experience at the restaurant. I have not been there in awhile, not too sure whether they are still run by the same people. Must check it out one of these days!

Hope you will find a better restaurant to dine with your mates for your next lunch outing.
